TeacherJobs is a private firm operated by a small team of dedicated, caring people who thrive on helping teachers get new teaching jobs.  We find our success in your success, helping you find an ideal new job.  Although we are not teachers ourselves, we are very passionate about the education field and value the contributions that teachers make to children. 

We assist qualified educators -Teachers, Counselors, Library/Media Specialists, and Administrators- in securing the best jobs available.  We work with select top candidates and provide each with the personal attention required to place them in the position they seek.  School administrators familiar with TeacherJobs know of the high caliber of candidates we represent and often look to us as their first choice for top candidates.

Our History and Leadership

Gary Loup is our founder, president and Placement Specialist.  Gary started in the teacher placement business in 1987 and has placed thousands of educators into new teaching or educational administrative positions.   He was initially recruited by Educational Placement Service (EPS) to open a St. Louis office for them.  EPS was expanding nationally and grew to 13 offices across the country, by far the largest teacher placement company ever.  In 2007, EPS closed the placement side of the business and just operated as a job board website.  With the closure of the placement business, Gary founded K12 Recruiters in order to continue to serve educators and schools.  From 2008-2015, we operated under the name of K12 Recruiters. In January 2016 we rebranded as TeacherJobs.       

Our Industry

Teacher placement offices have operated since the early 1900’s.  Today, there are about 20 agencies that specialize in teacher placement.  Most are on the east coast and work strictly with Independent private schools.  TeacherJobs is one of the very few agencies that works with all kinds of schools, including public, charter, Independent private and Religious private schools.
